Taylor brings an array of experiences to the Golf Specifics team. She attended Concordia University, St. Paul (CSP) where she played DII golf and earned a degree in Exercise Science. It was there where her love for golf grew and passion for fitness began. When her colligate playing career ended, she became the assistant coach for the CSP men’s and women’s golf team along with earning her MBA.

Upon graduation of her MBA, Taylor became a golf personal trainer at a local gym for a few months before she then became the head men’s and women’s golf coach at CSP. After seven strong years at CSP and two kids later, she decided to step down from colligate coaching and become a swing instructor and golf trainer again. Taylor is TPI Level 2 certified and ready to help juniors and adults navigate their golf fitness journey.

Taylor Ramirez enters her seventh season at the helm in 2021-22 after being named the second head coach of Concordia-St. Paul golf (Division II era) in September, 2015.

Ramirez led the women’s team to the NCAA Central Region Championships for the eighth season in a row in her first year as head coach as the team put up a solid sixth-place finish. She also helped Rachel Gray close out her record-setting career with an impressive 20th-place finish in the NCAA Division II Championships with a school record performance. In addition, Ramirez guided the men’s team to take fifth in the NSIC Championships.

“My coaching philosophy is to create trusting relationships with each student-athlete so I can properly inspire, lead, engage and mentor them through their college experience.”
